Your answers stay in your browser's session storage while you take the quiz, and your last result (season, runner-up, confidence, your three trait positions and the date) is kept in local storage so the report page can find it. The first name you type for a card is used only to draw the card in your browser; it is never sent to us. Clear your browser data to remove all of it.

The site runs on Cloudflare. Our database (Cloudflare D1) holds three tables, and none of them holds a name, email address, IP address or device identifier:

• Daily counts: the date, an event name (quiz started, quiz completed, card shared, compare link created, opened or completed, report page viewed, checkout started, failed, paid or refunded) and where the visit came from (search, a shared card, a compare link). Just a number per day.
• Compare links: a random link id, the sender's season, when it was created, and how many times it was opened and completed. Your first name and trait positions travel only in the part of the link after #, which browsers never send to a server.
• Report orders: a random order id, the Stripe checkout session and payment ids, the season, runner-up and trait positions needed to build your report, the amount and currency, when it was created, paid or refunded, and the refund reason if you choose to type one (up to 300 characters).

We check the connecting IP address against a rate limit to stop abuse; it is not stored. Page statistics come from Umami, which is cookieless and does not identify you.

Payments go through Stripe. Stripe collects your email and card details under its own privacy policy and sends the receipt. We never see your card number.

If the optional camera mirror is switched on later, the camera stays on your phone. Nothing is uploaded, saved or analysed, and the page makes no network requests while the camera is on. Close the tab and it's gone.
